GVHS Student Council Advisor Recognition

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Glenn Abrams and Kim Griego-Boruch as they step down as the Garnet Valley Student Council Advisors. The council was supervised by Glenn for 15 years and 26 years by Kim. During their advisory tenure, GV Student Council has become one of the most active Councils in the state.  Student Leaders have attended leadership conferences and presented at workshops at the regional, state, and national levels. GV Student Council has hosted the Pennsylvania Association of Student Council Region F Conference three times. The Council has earned recognition at both the state and national level.

Mini-THON has inspired the Garnet Valley community to raise over half a million dollars for Four Diamonds, an organization that supports families dealing with pediatric cancer and aids with research in finding a cure.

Kim and Glenn would like to thank the School Board for the support given to them and to the students for all of these years. Eryn Brady and Nichole Kamann Mellus have accepted the role as the new Student Council Advisors. On behalf of Garnet Valley School District, Four Diamonds, Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, and the PA Association of Student Councils, we present Kim and Glenn awards for exemplary leadership.
