Dear School Community,

Today Monday, September 26th, begins the religious celebration known as Rosh Hashanah. This two-day Jewish celebration of the New Year is observed on the first and second days of the Jewish month of Tishrei, the first month in the civil calendar. This year, the holiday begins on Monday, September 26, and ends at sundown, Tuesday, September 27. As it translates in Hebrew, the “head of the year” is a time for looking forward to a new year with anticipation and reflecting on the past year to improve ourselves for the next.

Join us in wishing Garnet Valley families good health, happiness, and prosperity, as members of our community welcome in the new year.
